My very first memory of Blake and Kayce was when they met Darryl and I at a bbq at Pam and Ray's house. It was the first time meeting either of them. Darryl and I were wondering the whole day what was going on because they kept acting secretive and were whispering stuff to each other. Darryl told me that wasn't typical for Blake.(I didn't know either one, so I couldn't tell) Well, we later found out that they had gotten engaged and hadn't told anyone yet! It certainly explained their behavior. That very same night, Darryl asked me to marry him and we didn't tell anyone for a few weeks so I guess we had our little secret too.

ReplyDeleteDarryl wanted me to write his memory for him. He thought it was hilarious when Blake pretended to be Darryl when some girl in high school was complaining him. The girl kept talking about what a jerk Blake had been thinking that Blake was really Darryl and Blake was amused and played along.
